At the tender age of 15, Luca starts to compose and develope some rough and trancey disco-tracks. When he give to listen those releases to his friend Alessio, he want to take part in the recordings, so Gli Ometti Lego is born. Trying to get out the disco attitudes, they need to search their style in other ways and with the help of some records such as "You Come a Long Way, Baby", "Dig Your Own Hole", "Protection", "I Care Because You Do", "Selection Sixteen", "Ep7", "Second [Thoughest] in the Infants" (thanks to Ernesto for the last 4). The following releases (that are never presented to public) make by the duo contains collaborations with some talentuous schoolfriends on guitar, keyboards and choirs and take up a huge range of sound and style references used in this kind of electronic music. But we don't have to forget the joking, casual and "dadaistic" components shown from beginning, learned and mind-processed during the listening to their actual favourite records. The group grows up, most of the musical production is entrust to Luca; in 2002 he found Kudarealphix, with Gessica on vocals; and if their mood turn a little softly and downtempo, Alessio try to force the beats structure, producing some tracks with the name ['!'] a few later. Meanwhile, since [2001?] they discover that to produce records by oneself for the other one and give them as a birthday or christmas gift could be fun, and interesting, and here we listen the true nature of ContaineR: nothing can stop the creative and experimental flux set free in these solo sessions that comprises lo-fi tape recordings, processed improvisation, taste for the emphasis of some details found between the sounds then sequencing to built a rhythm structure or oblique melodies, but not only. In 2003 come the dumb decision to continue only with this kind of productions and stop with any other, and they finally choose the moniker ContaineR. So they can better develope the graphic face of the group. Since 2000 (attending high school's 3rd year) they start to send message and draw on paper everything that they can. We could compare this comunication channel to a kind of chat via paper. The drawn material is near to dadaistic experiments for the composition style (they often use the Cadavre Exquis technique, that is two drawers that create a figure; the one can or cannot see what the other has drawn); they need to free the mind for a few for gain the highest immediacy of the sign, but this is a peculiar feature also of the writings, thoughts without filter about what happen around, dreams, instant tales. We can find the best of this episodes in their website, www.notyet.it/container, published in the end of 2006 and not yet finished! Back to music, few live experiences, limited to dj/livesets with synth, drum machine, dj software and effect tools, and some extra-production beyond the Gift Records in 2005 and 2006, some of then appears in ContaineR myspace. Between these they set up other many project like Acidhead, Winter of the Ninth Year (Luca) and MagentaWorld (Alessio).
