knob alchemist, is an experimental electronic musician from Bolzano, Italy. He started to play music in ninety years with the Amiga600, the software Bars&Pipes, a MT-32 Roland and one Masterkeyboard, under the name of LeE. In 1997 he was one of the first students in the new born course of Computer Music at the Musical Institute of Bolzano, with the prof.Tiziano Popoli. In 1998 he begun to make songs with his cousin, using a PC. In 2001 he started to experimenting the art of turntablism and skratching... Since 2002 he started a solo project inside the electronic/experimental music.. In the period from 2002 to 2006 he made also two radio broadcasts (Multiplexer and Flashblack) in the local radio (Radio Tandem) He also made new soundtracks for old silent movies and his works were always show in the Rimusicazioni Film Festival where he received positives critiques. Now he's interested in electronic, experimental, glitch, ambient, IDM, music and in collaborations with other artists. Since 2006 he's the administrator of the most important forum for computermusic in Italy: Xelenio. He's now involved in an experimental audio-visual project: face2screen with the artist and videomaker Mrs.Polly.
