Born in 1963, I'm a researcher about traditional and experimental methods of vocal emission since nearly twenty years. I'm graduated in Piano and Choral Music. I am a choir-orchestra conductor, a “classic-acoustic” and “experimental-electroacoustic” music composer and a singing teacher, so I have obtained a full marks degree in Multimedia Composition proposing a study and analysis about High Singing Formant and Vocal Acoustic Physiology by utilization and development of software technology (sonograms, spectrograms, power spectrum and other). I conduct workshops about opera-modern-experimental vocal style and overtone singing, working on relation among “vocal emission-listening-rectification”, (Tertium Auris = The Third Ear). I have improved in choir and orchestra direction with Julius Kalmar, Ludmil Descev and Peter Erdej, I was conductor of Choir of Teatro Verdi in Padova, Città di Verona Choir, Choir and Orchestra of Accademia d'Arte Musicale in Padova. I'm joined several opera and symphonic concerts and festivals as orchestra and choir conductor in Italy, Vaticano, Egypt, Lebanon, France, Germany and Switzerland, with artists as Wilhelmina Fernandez, Marie Ange Todorovitch, Bruna Baglioni, Giuseppe Giacomini, Gianfranco Cecchele, Mario Malagnini, Rolando Panerai, Bonaldo Giaiotti and others. I was guest director of Corale Giuseppe Verdi - Parma, “Compagnia di Canto Lirico Lombarda”, “Coro Lirico di Bergamo”, State Philarmonic Orchestra “Moldova” in Jasij, “Sòfia Chamber Orchestra”, Orchestra “Hans Swarovsky” - Milano, Symphony Orchestra “Città di Verona”, “Conservatorio Dall’Abaco” Youth Orchestra - Verona. I'm pianist for opera singers since 1986. I'm the conductor of “Coro Lirico di Verona” and “Coro di voci bianche A.d’A.Mus.” in Verona. I compose traditional modal works for sacred, opera and symphonic music, for orchestra, choir, voice and instruments, but electroacoustic music too, using only vocal samples, vocal noises and onomatopoeic sounds digitally processed. Sometimes I am asked as expert moderator on web forum, workshop and conferences about vocal didactic methods and vocal experimentation, so I have created a blog telling about audio-vocal experimentation, Tertium Auris, I'm the founder of Tertium Auris Network and I am admin of Overtone Music Network. Actually I’m working about the draft of a book telling the relation between overtone singing and opera singing technique.
